Course Selections and homework
It is almost April, the temperatures are rising, and, instead of thoughts of Spring, it is now we think of next September. Yes, course selections. They happened today and mark a transition for my students. They should all be thinking of grade 11.
Unfortunately for some, their futures may hold more of grade 10 English than they hoped for. So hear me now. I don't want to see you in my classes next year. Don't get me wrong; you are all very nice. But once around is enough. Capice? Pick up your socks, do your homework (it is working for those around you), wake up in class (the drooling is bothering me anyway), and get the heck out of grade 10! Ms. Crossman and I are pretty talented, the novels are decent, we're doing everything but following you home at night, so it is all up to you now. (Hint. Midterms start Thursday.)
For the rest of you, yay! Your hard work is paying off, your good attendance may even buy you an exemption. Grade 11 is great. Keep your eye on the prize. The selections you made today looked very good. You should be very excited.
Lastly, chapter 4 questions are not available right now. They will be on this site tomorrow. The "midterm" for our class is post poned until Thursday, April 6th.
