Homework

I just want to remind students that homework is not an option. At the very least it is important practice of skills learned in class. You cannot be good at writing if you never write just like you cannot be good at guitar if you do not practice.

There are some students who do not do homework and others who do it seconds before I ask for it. You are expected to have time management skills by grades ten and eleven. I do not give a lot of homework but what I do give I expect to be completed.

Parents: I have spoken to some of you and you were relieved when I said the students do indeed have homework as some students say they have none on a daily basis. If your student repeats this, let me assure you I have given assignments almost every night and will continue to do so, as does every teacher at BMHS. Finally I hope to see an increase in the numbers of students who complete their homework. Those who do finish their work regularly will be glad to have you in their ranks. : )

Homework for the five day weekend

Hi all. All classes have journals due Monday and my grade ten classes also have questions to complete. The journals are to be a page long at least. Have a good weekend.
